FAIRFIELD CT ADDITION
In the spirit of the Connecticut vernacular, this addition was conceived of as a barn attached to a Colonial home. The salt box roof line accommodates a mudroom at the first floor level and a work shop space at exterior grade. Interior and exterior steps create informal places to sit and play. Large windows and reflective interior surfaces emphasize the natural light and open volume of the interior space.
