With locations in both Westerly, RI, and Mystic, CT, Nana’s is a beloved local bakery and pizza shop. We transformed their original waterfront location in Mystic from a raw, industrial space into an open and inviting environment for guests to enjoy year-round. Increasing the amount of natural light in the space felt critical, so we added a west-facing window within the cooking line that affords views of the adjacent cove and outdoor eating area and brings daylight deep into the space. The clean palette of neutral materials aligns with Nana’s use of locally sourced, organic ingredients.
